Overview As a Patrol Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and the well-being of our community. You will actively monitor and patrol the entire city of Medicine Lodge, respond to incidents, and collaborate with other local and state law enforcement agencies when necessary. Your keen observation skills and proactive approach will help deter criminal activity and maintain a secure environment for all. What you'll do Conduct regular patrols of the City of Medicine Lodge to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with local authorities as needed. Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor activities and gather evidence. Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Manage conflicts effectively by employing de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during your shift. Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns. Skills Proficient in law enforcement practices and procedures. Experience in conflict management with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to safeguard property effectively. First aid and CPR certification preferred, ready to respond in emergencies. Background in military, law enforcement, or security roles is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
