The inspection is used to establish a retailer's compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual's schedule. This role is subject to federal service contract labor standards.

Duties/responsibilities:

Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address provided Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable Required qualifications/skills: Must maintain employment with the State of New York or be employed by a city/county within New York Reliable transportation Attention to detail Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy Law Enforcement employees are strongly encouraged to apply
