Responsibilities Conduct surveillance investigations using various techniques and equipment to monitor subjects discreetly and effectively. Gather evidence through undercover investigation methods, data collection, and information analysis techniques to support ongoing cases. Prepare comprehensive investigative reports documenting findings, observations, and conclusions with clarity and accuracy. Utilize surveillance equipment such as cameras, tracking devices, and other tools to facilitate investigations while maintaining regulatory compliance. Perform research on subjects, backgrounds, and related information to build strong cases for insurance companies or legal proceedings. Assist in fraud detection efforts by analyzing data patterns and identifying suspicious activities related to financial or insurance fraud. Maintain detailed records of all investigations, ensuring adherence to investigations regulatory compliance standards and confidentiality protocols. Skills Strong background in law enforcement or private investigation with experience in surveillance operations and security protocols. Proficiency in using surveillance equipment and conducting undercover investigation techniques. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed investigative reports. Knowledge of insurance investigations, financial fraud investigation methods, and fraud prevention strategies. Ability to analyze complex information using data analysis skills and research techniques. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, report compilation, and communication purposes. Understanding of investigations regulatory compliance standards to ensure all activities are lawful and ethical.
