Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Surveillance Assistant Manager to join our WinStar Surveillance Group 2 team located at the WinStar World Casino and Resort working .
Summary:
Oversees the day to day operations of the Surveillance Department including employee management and internal standards and procedures are at adherence at all times at a facility level.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Supervises multiple properties' surveillance staff and budgets
  • Advises management of opportunities to enhance protection at a facility level through cost saving measures, efficiency of camera locations, and areas of increased Surveillance coverage
  • Manages overall employee development and job performance for the Surveillance department through effective communication with Surveillance staff
  • Forecasts future staffing needs based on the needs of the business
  • Guides Surveillance staff during employee relation issues and direction of the departmental goals
  • Manages assigned budgets
  • preparation, forecasts, expense management, approvals, reporting, etc.
  • Communicates internal and external factors that may impact budgeting goals to facility management and loss prevention division based on observation of trends with staff and facility traffic
  • Maintains department tracking and reporting
  • Reports equipment malfunctions of the CCTV system to the management team and Loss Prevention division
  • Manages time spent between multiple properties
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
Competencies:
Essential:
  • Able to follow instructions, both written and oral
  • Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements
  • Good driving record and be insurable by the Chickasaw Nation
  • Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability
  • Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Extensive knowledge of internal controls (MICs, TICs), etc.
  • Proven knowledge of casino fraudulent crimes, how to detect crimes, how to prepare court-admissible evidence of such crimes, and how to teach the aforementioned items to departmental employees
  • Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
Skills:
Essential:
  • Possesses and utilizes basic mathematics skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Experience:
Essential:
  • 4 years directly related experience with supervisory
Education:
Essential:
    High School, GED or Equivalent Nonessential:
    • Bachelors Degree in directly related field
    Credentials:
    Essential:
    • Pass gaming background check
    • Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
    • CN Core Leadership Level 2
