Apply Now The Loss Mitigation Underwriter Team Lead is responsible for handling escalated matters, training and provide assistance and oversight to junior level staff in the absence of their respective Supervisor/Manager. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay for this position is $30.00 - $33.00 an hour. What you'll do: Respond to escalated issues from both internal and external sources. Assist with pipeline assignments. Analyze, distribute and/or prepare reports, track account workflows and provide results to management. Monitor performance and provide additional training to junior level staff as needed. Assist with training new hires. Perform supervisory responsibilities as needed for relief assignments in the absence of Supervisor. Act as Subject Matter Expert for department with the knowledge and ability to make decisions and/or provide direction on challenging files. Perform other duties as assigned. What you'll need: High school diploma or equivalent required. Five (5) plus years of underwriting experience in loss mitigation.
