Company Overview The Association of Property Owners of the Hideout Inc is dedicated to fostering a well-regulated, safe, and compliant community environment within The Hideout residential area. We prioritize adherence to health and safety standards, ensuring a high quality of life for all residents through diligent oversight and regulatory compliance.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Public Safety Access Officer is responsible and accountable to his/her immediate supervisor within the Chain of Command. The officer is responsible for enforcing the Association's adopted Rules and Regulations and ensuring the safety and security of Association members, guests, employees, and contractors.

PUBLIC SAFETY ACCESS OFFICER

Maintain command of assigned gate operations. Issue guest, visitor, and contractor passes as warranted. Complete assigned forms accurately and with the utmost integrity. Monitor member, guest, contractor, tenant, and vendor activity at the assigned location. Respond to telephone calls for assistance from members and authorized guests. Keep Control apprised of any occurrence requiring attention. Be aware of and comply with the Rules and Regulations of the community, as well as all applicable operational orders and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by Command Staff.

EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to interact with the public while maintaining a calm, professional, and respectful demeanor at all times. First Aid/CPR/AED certification is required. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

WORKING CONDITIONS

May be required to work overtime, extended hours, or double shifts based on operational needs. Must wear a Hideout-issued uniform while on duty. Any exception to this requirement must be approved by the Public Safety Manager or Operations Supervisor. Attendance at Public Safety related seminars sponsored by The Hideout is required for all Officers.

SAFETY HAZARDS OF THE JOB

Public Safety Access Officers may work irregular hours, which may contribute to stress and possible burnout. Officers may be exposed to the risk of serious bodily injury resulting from criminal activity, acts of violence, or interactions with irate individuals.
