Job Description
Entry level prevention position requiring the implementation of activities of the alcohol and other drug abuse prevention plan in Horry County to include training, educational presentation, coordination and technical assistance under the direction of supervisory personnel. Applicant must be able to represent the agency appropriately at meetings and other events as assigned including providing training to referral sources and the public on topics relevant to the mission of the agency. Collaborate with Coalition members and coordinate substance abuse prevention activities of agencies, groups and individuals to meet identified needs. Prepare required reports and submit any deliverables in a timely manner, which may include entering data and daily logs. Demonstrate a willingness to contribute professional skills and time for unusual circumstances that require additional work time and assignments outside of customary work hours and assignments.
