Responsibilities Operate a variety of power tools and hand tools to perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating Maintain and repair landscape features including hardscape elements like patios and walkways Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and caring for gardens Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on mowers, excavators, and other machinery Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards Experience Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of land management practices including tree care, gardening techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and saws safely and effectively Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Experience working with excavators or other construction machinery is advantageous but not mandatory Strong work ethic with the motivation to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and tree trimming Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward outdoor physical work This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
