Seasonal | Non-Exempt Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Landscape Chemical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will safely mix and apply fertilizers and pest control treatments at both nursery and customer sites. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in various conditions. Key Responsibilities Mix and apply herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and growth regulators according to label instructions and company standards Apply fertilizers to lawns and landscaped areas to promote healthy growth Maintain accurate records of treatments, including products used and application schedules Follow all safety procedures and application guidelines based on training Work closely with the Operations Manager and team leads to complete assigned tasks Assist with general garden and landscape maintenance as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Valid Pesticide Applicator's License (required) Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and strong attention to detail Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and stand, bend, and move throughout the workday Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and proof of insurability Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening experience (preferred) Availability to work weekends as needed

Pay:

$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
