They are seeking someone who understands true GL accounting—not just transactional work—and takes pride in accuracy, ownership, and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Own and support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain general ledger integrity and perform detailed account reconciliations Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Review accounting transactions across AP, AR, payroll, and cash activity for accuracy and internal control compliance Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization review and account analysis Assist with payroll-related accounting and reporting Partner with auditors and support audit preparation and external reporting requirements Review work prepared by Staff Accountants and provide mentorship and guidance Work cross-functionally with department leaders to support financial reporting and business operations Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency across the finance function Qualifications 5+ years of strong general ledger accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience owning or heavily supporting month-end close Strong understanding of debits/credits, journal entry flow, and balance sheet review Solid understanding of

U.S. GAAP
