Lead Carpenter Custom Homes & High-End Remodeling

Overview Jim Reif Builders is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our custom home and remodeling team in the Manitowoc / Northeast Wisconsin area. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who knows residential construction, takes pride in high-quality work, and can help keep a jobsite moving. We are looking for a hands-on carpenter who can lead by example, communicate well, and still jump in with the tools.

$25-$35+/hour based on experience and leadership ability Annual bonus opportunity Health & Dental Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Tool allowance Fuel reimbursement Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule High-end custom homes and remodeling projects Stable, established company with 30+ years in business What you'll do: Work on custom homes, remodels, additions, and detailed finish work Lead or help lead day-to-day jobsite carpentry work Read and follow blueprints, plans, and project details Perform framing, siding, trim, finish carpentry, and related work Coordinate with project managers, other carpenters, and trade partners Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite Communicate professionally with team members, clients, and vendors What we're looking for: 5+ years of residential carpentry experience Strong framing, finish carpentry, siding, and/or remodeling background Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements Comfort leading others or taking ownership of jobsite tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and work at heights when needed Strong work ethic, good communication, and pride in craftsmanship This is not an entry-level carpenter position. We are looking for someone who has solid hands-on experience and is ready to be trusted with high-quality work.
