Location:

Silverton, OR GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Lead Deck position for a local landscaping and fencing company. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various deck and landscaping tasks and possess leadership qualities and coordinate projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain outdoor structures as required
• Ensure high-quality standards are met in all landscaping tasks
• Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences
• Train new team members on landscaping techniques and safety protocols
• Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage
• Supervise in the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, and fences
• Supervise carpentry tasks such as framing and building structures
• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Experience in landscape maintenance and construction is preferred
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and ability to use hand tools effectively
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
• Familiarity with hard-scape installation techniques is a plus
