What We're Looking For We're looking for a warm and intuitive educator who loves caring for infants and is excited to be part of a collaborative, supportive team.
The ideal candidate is:
Gentle, patient, and emotionally attuned Passionate about the first year of life and infant development Enthusiastic about Reggio-inspired, relationship-based care Eager to grow professionally and open to mentorship/coaching A team player who contributes to a positive center culture Organized, reliable, and grounded in a growth mindset Comfortable building strong, trusting relationships with families Whether you are newer to the field or an experienced lead, we welcome educators who want to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in early childhood. Responsibilities Provide warm, responsive, and respectful care to infants ages 6 weeks-16 months Maintain a calm, predictable classroom environment that supports secure attachments Engage babies in meaningful sensory experiences, early language, and explorations Observe and document developmental progress and emerging milestones Support infants through co-regulation, gentle guidance, and nurturing interactions Communicate with families daily, building trust and partnership Collaborate closely with your infant team to keep the environment clean, safe, and inviting Follow all licensing regulations and center policies Model professionalism, empathy, and lifelong learning Qualifications For Lead Teacher candidates: Meets MN Rule 3 requirements for Lead Infant Teacher Previous infant classroom experience preferred For Assistant Teacher candidates: Meets MN Rule 3 assistant teacher qualifications Experience with infants is a bonus but not required Nest supports your career growth and provides paid CDA opportunities if you are working toward teacher qualifications.
