Position Overview:
The Legal Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting our legal and program staff. This position ensures the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks, helps maintain accurate and confidential records, and provides organizational support that allows our legal team to focus on serving clients and advancing our mission. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment where every team member's contribution truly matters.
Salary:
$37,440 - $41,600 Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, letters, and reports Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical) for case files, contracts, and confidential records Coordinate meetings, hearings, and appointments with internal staff, clients, and external partners Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure timely completion of required filings Contribute to team projects and organizational initiatives that strengthen our mission Qualifications Previous administrative experience required; legal or nonprofit experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion Commitment to the values and mission of the organization #
