Journey Level Electrician Location:
Dillard, Oregon Sign-On Bonus:
$5,000 Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Journey Level Electrician to support operations at a high-volume wood products manufacturing facility in Dillard, Oregon. This facility produces particleboard, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), and thermally fused laminates. The ideal candidate brings strong industrial electrical experience, particularly in automation, controls, and troubleshooting complex systems. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment in a continuous manufacturing environment Diagnose and repair issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency Support process improvements and system upgrades related to automation and controls Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and company policies Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues quickly Required Qualifications Active Oregon State Journey Level Electrician License (required) Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of: PLC logic and troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Industrial controls systems Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in wood products manufacturing (particleboard, MDF, laminates) Familiarity with automated production lines and continuous process systems Compensation & Benefits $5,000 sign-on bonus Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company match Tuition reimbursement for ongoing professional development
