Job Description

Insight Mental Health Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Child Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LPC or equ.) to join our team. Associate level are also encouraged to apply. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise and guidance will help clients navigate their emotional well-being and develop effective coping strategies. Requirements:
  • licensed mental health professional (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, LPC or equivalent) in the state Washington.
Duties:
  • Conduct clinical counseling sessions with individuals, couples, families, and/teens/children. Seeing children 5+ is a requirement of this position.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques and interventions to address clients' mental health concerns
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
  • Provide patient care by actively listening, empathizing, and offering guidance and support
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions
Skills:
  • Strong clinical counseling skills with experience in individual and/or couples and family therapy
  • Proficient in using ICD-9 codes for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
  • Excellent patient care skills, including active listening and empathy
  • Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain client confidentiality
  • Ability to stay updated on current research and advancements in behavioral health field
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with teams and documentation purposes
