Job Description
Direct monitoring of:
Clinical outcomes Chart audits Utilization and appropriateness of services Patient satisfaction surveys Physician performance and charging patterns Recommend and implement improvements to enhance overall quality of care. Promote adoption of evidence-based best practices. Coordinate review and resolution of complaints related to physicians or clinical care. Review malpractice complaints and claims in partnership with compliance and risk management. Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations, professional standards, and all local, state, and federal requirements. Lead development of systems to track outcomes, performance indicators, and improvement initiatives. Qualifications Education & Licensure MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certification in a surgical specialty Active, unrestricted state medical license Eligible for medical staff privileges Experience 5-7+ years of clinical surgical practice required Leadership experience in ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting preferred Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of outpatient surgical operations Knowledge of accreditation standards with CMS Data-driven performance management Financial and operational acumen Effective communicator and collaborative leader Skilled in conflict resolution and change management Physical Demands Requires the ability to: Sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Move throughout clinical and administrative areas of the facility. Participate in clinical oversight activities within surgical and patient care environments.BENEFITS
