Licensed Plumber with P1, P2, P6, or P7 License for Exterior Plumbing Work

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed plumber (P1, P2, P6, or P7) to assist with and perform exterior plumbing work on commercial, and/or municipal projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing outdoor plumbing systems, including water service lines, drainage systems, sewer lines and site utilities. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in working in outdoor environments and varying site conditions. Pay range is varying and is based on experience and licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of exterior plumbing systems, including water mains, sewer lines, storm drainage, and irrigation connections Perform trenching, pipe laying, grading coordination, and backfilling in compliance with project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and utility layouts Connect exterior plumbing systems to municipal services or private systems Conduct inspections, pressure testing, and leak detection on underground systems Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, fusion machines, compactors, and pumps Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines Collaborate with Field Superintendent, Project Manager(s), General Contractors, and other trades on-site Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper handling of materials and debris Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of existing exterior plumbing infrastructure

License Requirements:

Valid P1, P2, P6, or P7 plumbing license

Qualifications:

Experience in exterior or underground plumbing work preferred Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Knowledge of underground utility installation and safety practices (e.g., trench safety, OSHA standards) Ability to read construction drawings and follow technical instructions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required) Physical ability to lift heavy materials, dig, and perform manual labor

Preferred Skills:

Experience with excavation coordination and heavy equipment operators Familiarity with PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, and copper piping systems Certifications in trench safety, confined space entry, or equipment operation

Work Environment:

Outdoor construction sites Exposure to dirt, weather conditions, and heavy equipment May require early mornings.
