What You'll Do Technical Installation & Support Assist lead technicians with installing structured cabling (low‑voltage wiring), mounting cameras, card readers, alarm devices, and more. Learn how to configure and program video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems. Build troubleshooting fundamentals and help diagnose wiring, connectivity, and equipment issues. Keep tools, materials, and job sites clean, organized, and accounted for. Operational & Logistical Responsibilities Accurately document the work you complete using Microsoft Office tools. Travel up to 100% of the time to commercial job sites across multiple states—typically home on weekends. Follow all company and site safety requirements without exception. Skills & Qualifications You don't need to come in knowing everything. But you'll succeed if you have: A basic understanding of electronics OR relevant technical training. Interest in the security industry (CCTV, access control, alarms, networking). Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. Willingness to travel frequently. Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check. Physical Requirements Stooping, kneeling, bending for extended periods. Crawling in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces). Working safely on ladders and lifts. Safe use of power and hand tools.
