Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with Chef/Owner to deliver high-quality food service in a timely manner. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation. Assist in running food to guests when the bartenders are busy, providing excellent service to guests. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and work with Chef/Owner on ordering. Be able to handle cooking alone - smaller kitchen space = smaller menu. Experience Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting for a minimum of 3-5 years. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and fine dining service is essential. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry. Experience in restaurant, bar, or kitchen environments is highly desirable. Culinary experience that includes working independently. Please note all employees of the bar need to obtain a bar card through the town. This is mandatory and required by the municipality for all bar employees. A background check will be required via IdenToGo fingerprint appointment.
