At Kaccao Restaurant, our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and plating high-quality Dominican-inspired dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, food safety standards, and smooth communication with the culinary team. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a passion for delivering flavorful, well-executed meals that reflect the warmth and quality of Kaccao's dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food handling practices meet safety regulations and sanitation standards Support food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service and timely meal delivery Experience Previous experience in a Hispanic/latino/Caribbean restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred Demonstrated kitchen experience with proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques Familiarity with serving in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to efficiently perform meal preparation tasks while maintaining high quality standards
