We are a fast-paced cafe that specializes in vegan breakfast and lunch (and bakery). You will be preparing breakfast bagel sandwiches and wraps, hot and cold sandwiches, and fried items in a customer-facing position. You must have attention to detail and take pride in what you do. Responsibilities Cooking made-to-order vegan breakfast sandwiches and wraps, cold and hot sandwiches, and specials according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment Ingredient preparation for the day Setting up in preparation for service Cleaning and sanitizing of cooking equipment at closing, including flat top, fryer, grill, prep surfaces, small wares, etc... Preparing items according to ticket and delivery order times Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all time Open communication with other team members to ensure timely preparation during service hours Ensure all dishes are prepared with attention to detail, consistency, and presentation excellence Customer service Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning as needed Requirements Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Dependable, punctual, and ready to work at scheduled times Prior experience in serving, or food industry roles is required. We are a fast-casual vegan cafe & bakery that takes pride in every item we serve and we expect the same from every employee. We are looking for someone who cares about quality and presentation.
