Job Description
Food Preparation:
Prepare ingredients for dishes, including washing, chopping, and measuring.Cooking:
Cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards, using various kitchen equipment like grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves.Plating and Presentation:
Ensure dishes are plated attractively and ready for service.Quality Control:
Ensure food is prepared with consistency, following the correct recipes and portion sizes.Cleaning and Maintenance:
Keep workstations clean and sanitized. Follow proper safety protocols for handling food, knives, and equipment.Coordination:
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service, including following the ticket order system and managing multiple orders at once.Stock Management:
Help with restocking ingredients and supplies, as well as maintaining inventory levels.Time Management:
Work efficiently to ensure food is prepared in a timely manner, especially during busy hours.Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning equipment, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met.What you bring:
Strong cooking skills, particularly with a variety of commercial kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Ability to follow recipes and execute orders precisely. Teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to stay organized and manage time well under pressure. Weekend availability is required.Education and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years line cook experience or a recent culinary school graduate. Fine dining experience preferred Strong cooking skills, particularly with a variety of kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Ability to follow recipes and execute orders precisely. Teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to stay organized and manage time well under pressure.Job Types:
