Local and Regional Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your expertise in handling Endumps, Hoppers, & Belt Trailers, will be essential to maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of sensitive or heavy cargo Drive a variety of trailer types including Endumps, Belt & Hopper trailers. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit Clean MVR 2 yrs Experience Minimum. Experience Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid Class A CDL license Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently Experience driving various trailer types such as Endumps, Hoppers, & Belt Trailers is highly preferred Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on freight handling and route driving preferred Familiarity with load & unload procedures and the use of equipment like forklifts is advantageous Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement techniques Join us in delivering excellence on the road!
