This contract role focuses on prescription filling and medication prepackaging within a long-term care pharmacy setting, under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and prepare prescriptions for dispensing, adhering to all standards and government regulations Assist the Pharmacist in final checking and packaging of medications for customer delivery Support Pharmacy Management with inventory control, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining detailed records of lot numbers and expiration dates Help maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring proper equipment calibration and safety protocols are followed Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to uphold organizational standards in a production environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Pharmacy Technician license issued by the Medical Board Proven skills in pharmacy technician duties with a focus on long-term care pharmacy operations Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow regulatory guidelines and company policies closely Effective communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:
