Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy in Union City, CA, within the Bay Area, is seeking Production Pharmacy Technicians for a special project. Schedule:

Four days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Six evening shifts from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Prepackage medication for dispensing, following all standards and government regulations. Assist the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, including stating the medication for final review and packaging post-review. Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers. Support Pharmacy Management in maintaining inventory accuracy: receiving and rotating medications, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventories. Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to ensure a clean, safe work environment and check equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness.

Desired Experience:

Current, valid California Pharmacy Technician license in-hand. Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Knowledge of pharmacy inventory procedures and government regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
