Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate from high school or general education degree (GED).
  • Three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in school setting preferred.
  • Typing certificate 40 WPM
  • Knowledge of rules governing correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Brief Description of Position:
  • Serves as secretary/account clerk to district office administration utilizing advanced computer skills.
  • Maintains bookkeeping accounts for categorical and capital facilities budgets.
  • Receives and deposits funds from a variety of sources.
  • Receives, assembles, sorts, matches, calculates, checks, and posts a variety of financial and statistical data related to assigned functions.
  • Communicates with students' families, community agencies and other district employees regarding a variety of related issues.
  • Organizes, designs, and maintains a filing system.
  • Performs special reporting transactions; batching or sorting as necessary.
  • Organizes, codes and inputs data and implements changes need.
  • Assists other staff in completing office related tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
This is a substitute assignment. Assignment dates are approximate and is subject to change.
