Job Description

Position Overview:
Join our dynamic rural healthcare team as a Clinic Lead - LPN , where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading clinical operations within our outpatient setting. This key position combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing the daily operations of the medical clinic while providing high-quality nursing care to patients. You will coordinate daily clinical activities, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to healthcare standards, all while fostering a positive and proactive environment that prioritizes patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing evaluations. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor progress, documenting findings in the EMR systems.
Patient Management:
Lead patient intake processes, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs. Address patient concerns and provide education on treatment plans and follow-up care.
Leadership and Supervision:
Supervise and mentor clinical staff and medical assistants, providing guidance on procedures such as vaccinations, IV infusion and medication administration. Coordinate daily workflow, ensuring adequate staffing and efficient patient flow. Collaboration with
Healthcare Team:
Work collaboratively with providers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and best practices. Assist in maintaining quality assurance programs, monitoring gaps in care, and tracking performance metrics, including HEDIS measures.
Administrative Duties:
Oversee clinic operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining medical supplies. Assist with billing and insurance processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions.
Crisis Management:
Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions until further medical assistance is available. Implement and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Vaccine Inventory Responsibilities:
Manage vaccine inventory, including ordering and maintaining records. Conduct audits and provide staff training on proper handling and storage. Colorado Vaccine for Children (VFC)
Program Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of the Colorado VFC program, ensuring all program requirements are met. Oversee patient eligibility assessments and ensure accurate data reporting.

Qualifications:
Valid LPN license with current state licensure required. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; ICD-10 coding knowledge is advantageous. Pay:
$30.70 - $39.38 per hour
