Direct Hire Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to clinic patients while adhering to established clinical standards, policies, and best practices within the scope of LPN licensure. This role serves as the primary liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and clinic staff, ensuring smooth communication, coordinated patient care, and efficient clinic workflow. The LPN will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to meet patient needs and support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care following clinical standards and scope of licensure Serve as the primary communication link between patients, providers, and staff Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs Triage incoming patient calls and address concerns appropriately Process prescription refill requests Complete prior authorizations for medications, procedures, or treatments Coordinate patient care and follow-up with providers and care teams Support daily clinic operations and workflow efficiency Provide guidance and support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and scheduling staff Collaborate effectively with Providers, Coordinators, Clinical Managers/Supervisors, and Registered Nurses (RNs) Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations Follow all current State and Federal licensure requirements Complete continuing education requirements as mandated
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Current State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Compliance with all State/Federal continuing education requirements Strong clinical and patient care skills
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities Experience with patient triage, prescription processing, and prior authorizations Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative clinical environment Leadership abilities to support junior staff and team coordination Looking forward to your response.
