• We are looking NIGHTS
• 3/12 hour shifts on a rotating basis The LPN is under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the unit and shall participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care of assigned patients, and assists in the maintenance of the effective and efficient unit.

The LPN functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Basic Qualifications:

Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Oklahoma. Previous hospital, psychiatric, and/or chemical dependency treatment experience preferred. Good written and communication skills are necessary. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.

Skills:

• Proficient in patient care techniques, including IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
• Knowledgeable in critical care procedures and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Skilled in conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical imaging results.
• Experienced in providing memory care for patients with cognitive impairments.
• Familiar with various medical systems and electronic health record software.
• Competent in catheter care and able to perform necessary procedures.
• Knowledgeable in home care practices and able to provide comprehensive care in a home setting.
