LPN/RN - Day Shift

$ign on Bonu$! Avon Nursing Home, a 40 bed skilled nursing facility, is looking for Exceptional Clinical Nurses - RN & LPNs to join our team on our Day Shift. Only a short drive to a scenic location - 13 minutes from Lima, 15 minutes from Henrietta and Rush, 16 min from Honeoye Falls, 25 min from Bloomfield and Churchville, 27 min from Mt Morris, 30 min from Gates and Dansville! Avon Nursing Home is part of Hurlbut Care Communities, that is owned and operated locally and has 11 skilled nursing facilities across 4 counties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide basic resident care or treatments, such as, but not limited to taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, and performing catheterizations. Administer prescribed medications/ treatments documenting accordingly in our EMR system.

Observe residents:

chart and report changes in residents' conditions, such as response to medication or treatment. Answer residents' call lights and determine how to assist them. Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration Provide kind and compassionate care to our residents RNs - resident assessments Care planning As part of a family-owned network of 11 skilled nursing facilities, these candidates will have access to some of the most respected experts in the long-term care field.

Must be currently licensed and in good standing as an RN in NYS Excellent communication and customer service skills
