Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical skills, and commitment to quality will contribute significantly to our manufacturing success. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines Manufacturing) programming, CNC programming, and CNC programming software to optimize machine performance. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure products meet specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and assembly line operations as needed. Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality inspections, and machine maintenance activities. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with hand tools, fabrication equipment, welding tools, and tooling setups. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes. Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on machining tasks. Knowledge of materials handling procedures including forklift operation; certification preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Ability to work efficiently on an assembly line while maintaining high standards of quality control. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of troubleshooting mechanical issues independently.
