Updated 03/2024 Job Description Job Summary The Utility Technician will provide assistance and support to Senior level technicians within the Maintenance Department. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Transfer aircraft tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work station and other areas as instructed. Assist with the removal and/or installation of aircraft panels, chocks, ground wire as instructed. Assist with installation or replacement of parts and instruments using hand or power tools as instructed. Assist with disassembly and reassembly of aircraft interiors as instructed. Assist with the general clean-up of work area Clean aircraft interior and exterior as instructed by leadman or manager. Assist Sr. Level Technicians with paint touch-up or primer application, Assist with basic repairs and aircraft maintenance as instructed. Prime, paint and seal aircraft parts/areas as instructed after qualified. Clean and lubricate aircraft/GSE equipment as instructed. Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of the hangar. Complete on-the-job training for all task accomplished to document training record also any required on-line training should be documented . Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
EDUCATION
High School Degree or Equivalent Aviation School (Graduate or Current Student)
EXPERIENCE
Previous education or experience in an environment requiring mechanical skills is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong communication skills
  • written and oral.
Must speak, read and write in English fluently.
