  • A&P License
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with previous A&P Lead experience
  • Ability to safely drive and operate a standard shift automotive vehicle and other related equipment
  • Capable of working independently, under supervision, and suFpervising others within the scope of an A&P Lead
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and mathematical proficiency
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM) and Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) requirements
  • Oversee maintenance production flow, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope
  • Coordinate with all departments to support workflow sequencing and project completion consistent with A&P Lead responsibilities
  • Review project scope requirements and budgetary constraints
  • Provide daily status updates to the Project Manager regarding progress and operational concerns
  • Collaborate with Supervisors to allocate billable man-hours and estimate hours for non-routine tasks while ensuring customer approval
  • Monitor project progress by comparing planned versus actual man-hours to maintain schedule and budget compliance
  • Delegate tasks as required while maintaining responsibility for overall project completion
  • Enforce safety standards and regulations within the work area to prevent accidents
  • Promote housekeeping practices that support a safe and organized work environment
  • Verify proper tagging and storage of aircraft components and parts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
  • Evaluate personnel performance and aircraft progress daily while adjusting schedules and plans to support timely task completion
  • Participate in safety education programs and report workplace hazards in accordance with company policies and government regulations
  • Notify supervisors and managers of unsafe actions or conditions observed during maintenance operations Physical Requirements & Environment
  • Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level
  • Occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Requires use of goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, apron, gloves, safety harness, and breathing equipment
