Job Description:

The selected candidates will be required to perform heavy maintenance on narrow body aircraft in Windsor, ON

Main Duties:

Assemble, rivet, drill and bond body, structure or components of aircraft according to specifications; Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine method of fabrication, procedures and sequence of operations; Cure bonded structures, using portable or stationary curing equipment; Communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts; Clean, strip, prime and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding; Fabricate parts using metal fabricating machines, saws, brakes, shears, and grinders; Assemble and fit aircraft and structural parts; Perform a subassembly; Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools; Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to speak, read and write the English Language at a B2 level minimum. Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required. Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved. Must have a technical college degree in aerospace or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an MRO Working Conditions Work performed in hangar and production line environments. Mandatory use of personal protective equipment. Possible shift work (day, evening, weekend).
