We are currently hiring Full-Time Fixed Wing Base Mechanic positions at our Northern California home base of Redding, CA, to support our 145-repair station, maintaining a variety of aircraft, including Cessna 100 series, C208 Caravan, Sherpa SD3-60, Diamond DA-42, and Beechcraft King Air B200. Our A&P Base Mechanics perform a variety of maintenance functions, including, but not limited to, detailed scheduled/unscheduled inspections, servicing, preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs, and/or alterations. Our Base Mechanics may be required to travel on occasion. All Candidates interested in joining the Air Shasta team as a Base Mechanic will need to possess the following; FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P). Knowledge of FAR's- 91, 133, 135 and 145 is preferred. Knowledge, experience and prior training on any of the following aircraft is preferred; Cessna 100 series, C208 Caravan, Sherpa SD3-60, Diamond DA-42, Beechcraft King air B200. Ability to work independently and tolerates high stress levels while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism. Pre-employment drug screening required, as well as random drug screens Ability to work collaboratively within a team; ability and willingness to adapt to evolving situations and maintain good relationships with peers, customers, agency staff.
