Wichita, KS. AAA USA is actively hiring experienced Aircraft Composite Technician professionals to support major aerospace repair and manufacturing programs in Multiple Locations. We are seeking skilled aviation professionals with experience performing structural composite repairs, fabrication, and rework on commercial aircraft and aircraft components. Key Responsibilities:
Lays out, assembles, pre-fits, and bonds a variety of metal, compositor laminate fabrications, assemblies, parts, skins or equipment. Team with others to fabricate, assemble, form, finish and inspect a wide variety of structural and non-structural fiberglass, acrylic and other composite and metal parts, tools and assemblies. Follows engineering and manufacturing specifications and orders to determine parts to be bonded and the temperature and pressure required. Cuts parts or materials to size. Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete the bonding cycle. Sands, burrs and smoothes over areas. Applies sealing resins to cut or exposed edges. Process methods and sequences vary depending on compounds, contours and lay-up transitions. May perform complicated rework or repair. Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, work orders, documents, verbal and electronic information.
Experience:
3+ years of aerospace composite experience.
