We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) to join our Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) maintenance team. The successful candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and related maintenance activities while ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable FAA requirements, manufacturer technical data, and company procedures. What You'll Do Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and aircraft system discrepancies efficiently and accurately. Perform maintenance and inspection tasks in accordance with aircraft maintenance programs and applicable repair requirements. Comply with manufacturer technical data, FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and applicable safety requirements. Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and related technical documentation. Accurately complete maintenance records, logbook entries, work orders, and required documentation. Inspect aircraft parts and components for compliance prior to installation when applicable. Position and tow aircraft in support of maintenance operations. Perform aircraft fueling and de-fueling operations when required. Support AOG and emergency maintenance requirements as operationally needed. Maintain safe work practices, environmental compliance, proper housekeeping, tool control, and an organized work environment. Communicate effectively with maintenance leadership and other team members regarding aircraft status, discrepancies, and work progress. QualificationsRequired Current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate . Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience . Demonstrated experience performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs. Practical experience working on turbine and/or corporate aircraft . Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and aircraft system discrepancies. Working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures applicable to aircraft maintenance. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and related technical documentation. Ability to accurately complete aircraft maintenance records and related documentation. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Preferred 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience. Experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment. Experience with corporate/business aircraft, particularly Citation, Hawker, Bombardier/Challenger, King Air, Learjet, Falcon, Turbo Commander , and other turbine aircraft. FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) . Manufacturer or OEM factory training on relevant aircraft platforms. Avionics troubleshooting experience. Experience supporting AOG or mobile maintenance operations. Detailed working knowledge of Corridor or comparable aircraft maintenance tracking software.
