Job Description

Job Summary

This position may be filled as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician I, II, or III. Level placement is determined based on the candidate's experience, technical knowledge, certifications, demonstrated competencies, and business needs.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component removal/installation, servicing, and functional testing of aircraft and aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, approved maintenance programs, and company policies.

Diagnose and correct airframe, powerplant, avionics, and aircraft system discrepancies using approved technical data, including maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and illustrated parts catalogs.

Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, discrepancies, corrective actions, and return-to-service records in aircraft logbooks and electronic maintenance tracking systems.

Coordinate maintenance activities with Maintenance Control, the Director of Maintenance, flight crews, and other operational personnel to support aircraft availability and regulatory compliance.

Respond to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and assist with or perform Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Aircraft Maintenance Log (AML) deferrals in accordance with company procedures and authorized approvals.

Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free work environment while adhering to company safety programs, quality standards, human factors principles, and all regulatory requirements.

Participate in required training and qualification programs and, based on experience and authorization, provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership during complex maintenance activities and operational events.

Perform other duties as assigned to support maintenance operations and organizational objectives.

Requirements

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.

Typically 0-5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, with increasing responsibility based on experience and qualifications.

Working knowledge of FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 43 and 135.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply manufacturer maintenance manuals, approved technical data, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and related maintenance documentation.

Proficiency using aircraft maintenance tools, test equipment, and ground support equipment.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with maintenance leadership and flight operations.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Part 135 aircraft maintenance experience.

Aircraft type training or factory certification applicable to the company fleet.

Experience with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery operations.

Familiarity with Minimum Equipment List (MEL) procedures and deferred maintenance.

Experience with electronic maintenance tracking systems such as CAMP, AVIANIS, or VERYON.

Previous experience mentoring or training junior technicians.
