TASK DESCRIPTION
This position is located in the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) Intermediate Level Maintenance Activity to provide maintenance services as an Aviation Ordnance Specialist.
TASK REQUIREMENTS
1. Provide on-site hands-on assistance to the KAF Armament program for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of aviation weapons systems equipment. 2. Support on-the-job training and cross training of KAF personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Successful completion of a military aviation ordnance school. 2. Minimum of four years technical experience in Intermediate Level maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of F/A-18 associated weapon systems and weapon systems support equipment. 3. Be familiar with the Visual Information Display System (VIDS)/Maintenance Action Form (MAF) system and proper procedures for completing
VIDS/MAFS
in accordance with
COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2
Series. 4. Experienced in use of technical manuals as they relate to the maintenance and repair of aircraft weapons systems. 5. Through understanding of
COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2
