Job Description

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a strong team player that would like to be part of a small high performing team on the role of Service Manager in a FAA Part 145 Repair Station . The ideal candidate must have strong mechanical skills. We are a small business located in Wellington, KS specializing in piston aircraft upgrades. We develop single engine aircraft STC kits that are shipped worldwide and installed locally.

The ideal candidate must be able to work with small teams and enjoy learning everyday.

We are looking for someone that is a self-starter and motivated.

Above average communication skills are required for you to be successful at this job.

Responsibilities:

Prepare all required paperwork related to Maintenance (Annual Inspections, Log Entries, 337 Forms, AD Search).

Able to complete Annual Inspections under the repair station.

Inspect aircraft to make sure it is ready to fly after maintenance and upgrades.

Help Maintain Repair Station documents and training of technicians.

Ideal Candidate:

Must have a Valid A&P Certificate (Preferred with IA Authorization)

Private Pilot Certificate to fly aircraft after engine and avionics upgrades

Interested in promoting General Aviation. (Company Cessna 172 and Cessna 180 are available for qualifying pilots)

Compensation:

Negotiable dependent on job experience and ratings held

Requirements

Aircraft maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Aircraft Mechanic A&P Certificate (Part 65) (Required)
