Job Description
A&P Mechanics are directly responsible to the Director of Maintenance and shall:
- Hold a current Airframe and/or Powerplant Certificate. Have experience on aircraft or have other qualifications that will satisfy this requirement.
- Perform all work in accordance with the RSQM, manufacturers' technical data, the applicable FARs, or other acceptable data.
- Execute all maintenance forms in conformity with maintenance instructions, taking care to sign all forms where his/her full signature is required.
- Ensure that only approved materials, along with the correct equipment and serviceable tools are used.
- Keep the Director of Maintenance advised of the status of all work in progress, and of any problems related thereto.
- Keep the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and ensure that all safety instructions are complied with.
Qualifications:
- A&P certificate required.
- 2+ years aircraft maintenance experience preferred, or substantiated equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical abilities.
- Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills.
