OVERVIEW
Performs/supervises repair & reclamation and maintenance support functions Performs end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspections Detects and advises on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft, removed components and related aerospace equipment Uses technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems Interprets/advises on maintenance procedures/policies to repair aircraft, parts and equipment Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment Removes, installs and operationally checks aircraft components Maintains, rebuilds and/or overhauls aircraft components according to technical data Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems Supervises and performs aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations Other duties as assigned High School Diploma/GED Fighter Jet Experience preferred Must have at least 5 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience FAA A&P license preferred Must be able to travel on TDY assignments Must be able to work various shifts Must have an in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders) Must have a working knowledge of computers Obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI certification Obtain/maintain security clearance Must meet ITAR compliance requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learn Effective Communication Skills Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly works in the hangar or on the flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands. Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
