Aircraft Technician Job Description The Aircraft Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, along with other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes. This role ensures a safe and clean work environment, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and approved procedures. Additionally, the technician prepares and completes necessary documentation in a timely manner. Responsibilities Assist in high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components using proper hand tools. Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed. Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components with limited supervision. Prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes, as required by company policy and FAA regulations. Demonstrate proficiency in work order systems by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements. Perform maintenance on Business Jets including Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon. Essential Skills Aircraft maintenance Line maintenance A&P license Powerplant mechanic Airframe technician 3-4 years of military experience or equivalent A&P experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Corporate or Business jet experience Sheet metal experience Candidates with structures experience need only 1-2 years of experience without A&P Work inside a temperature-controlled hanger with heated floors in winter. Choose from shifts including 1st shift (6:00am - 4:00pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm - 12:00am), or a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday with 3 12-hour days and a 10% shift difference). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
