Required Certifications & Experience:

FAA Licenses:

Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with an active Inspection Authorization (IA) is strictly required.

General Aviation Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience in general aviation aircraft maintenance, with a proven track record of troubleshooting, engine maintenance, and completing thorough annual inspections independently.

Aircraft Familiarity:

Demonstrated proficiency with common single- and twin-engine GA piston aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Mooney, Cirrus, Diamond, Tecnam, Maule, Bellanca, Grumman) and standard engines (Lycoming, Continental, Rotax).

Tools & Technical Expectations:

Personal Tools:

Must possess your own comprehensive set of standard roll-around aircraft hand tools. (All specialty shop tools, tripod jacks, calibrated testers, borescopes, and heavy ground service equipment are provided by the company).

FAA Compliance:

Thorough understanding of FAA regulations, airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and proper maintenance logbook record-keeping under FAA Part 43.

Professional Mindset:

Leadership & Autonomy:

Comfortable serving as the primary technical decision-maker on the shop floor with minimal supervision.

Quality & Safety Focus:

Highly safety-conscious, organized, and dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of airworthiness and workmanship.
