Job Description

Job Summary

Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturer focused on precision engineering and advanced maintenance operations. The organization offers opportunities to support overhaul and repair activities in a highly regulated aviation environment.

The Overhaul Mechanic supports the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components and subassemblies. This role focuses on executing standardized work while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards in support of certified mechanics and inspectors.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Disassemble, clean, and reassemble aircraft components and subassemblies in accordance with work instructions and engineering specifications.

Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects; document findings and escalate issues as needed.

Support certified mechanics and inspectors with overhaul and repair activities.

Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Follow all regulatory, company, and quality procedures to ensure compliance and airworthiness standards.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job travelers and inspection documentation.

Ensure proper handling, tagging, and storage of parts throughout the overhaul process.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.

Assist with troubleshooting and basic root cause identification under supervision.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

3+ years of mechanical, manufacturing, or aviation-related experience preferred.

Experience working with hand tools, mechanical assemblies, or technical repair work.

Ability to read and follow technical instructions, manuals, and basic blueprints.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO environments.
• Familiarity with repair station processes.
• Technical training or trade school background.
