Duties Help This position is loced in the Component Repair Shop of an Army Aviion Support Facility (AASF). The purpose of this position is to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and test aircraft engines. Work involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, modificion and testing of conventional, modified, and experimental aircraft engines, their components, assemblies, and subassemblies. It also covers work involving engine accessories such as starters, generors, anti-icers, and fuel control devices when such assignments are incidental to work on the completed engine. Works also involves the review of engine/component records to determine cause of failure and the extent of disassembly and repair required in returning engine and/or component to operional condition. This is a Title 32 Technician Vacancy th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Experience using hand and power tools common to the trade.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

: Experience or training performing standard, routine assembly and disassembly operions and making prescribed modificions to aircraft engines, engine assemblies, and accessories. Experience or training performing maintenance overhaul, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft engines, engine components, and powertrains for fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft. Experience determining maintenance needed from work orders, inspection reports, historical records, and diagnosis.???????
