In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft systems to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with all federal and industry standards. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational and ready for flight, contributing to the highest levels of aviation safety and performance. Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine inspections of aircraft airframes, engines, avionics, electrical systems, and mechanical components using schematics, technical drawings, and CAD models. Troubleshoot issues through engineering troubleshooting techniques, root cause analysis, and interpreting technical schematics to identify faults accurately. Conduct repairs utilizing specialized industrial tools such as torque wrenches, power tools, soldering equipment, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments. Assemble and fabricate aircraft parts using sheet metal techniques, welding, soldering, and other fabrication methods aligned with industry standards. Maintain compliance with FAA regulations (Federal Aviation Regulations) and quality standards such as AS9100 by documenting work accurately in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Use coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other measurement tools like ammeters and ohmmeters to verify component specifications during maintenance procedures. Support flight line maintenance operations by performing heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols involving electrical experience and military aviation standards. Experience Proven experience in aircraft maintenance within an aviation maintenance facility or similar environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in aircraft systems repair, power plant maintenance, airframe work, and avionics troubleshooting. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, CAD files (including CATIA and AutoCAD), and engineering troubleshooting documentation. Experience working with military aircraft or military aviation standards is highly desirable. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices applicable to aviation equipment is a plus. Prior use of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation is preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
