Our primary focus is wheels/tires and brakes. We are seeking a professional Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. APS is dedicated to providing a safe and stable work environment for all of our team members. APS's goal is to exceed the expectations of our employees, customers, and shareholders. Job Duties Perform wheel and brake repair, including tire change and overhaul. Reads and interprets maintenance manuals or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned tasks. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. Proper handling and application of chemicals and chemical agents used in the stripping and painting processes. Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and handling of components. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure compliance with FAA specifications when applicable. Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned. Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or advance instruction relative to technical field is desirable Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field is preferred. Ability to locate, read and follow the technical data appropriate for the assigned task Experience with EBIS software is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring equipment and hand tools appropriate to the assigned tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Must comply with all safety and housekeeping policies. Must be able to comply with DOT Drug & Alcohol testing requirements. Must be willing to work extended hours based on Repair Station production. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A&P certificate is preferred but not required.
