Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic to join our aviation maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a range of aircraft from light pistons to mid-size turbines in our growing operation. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of our fleet and customers. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft airframes, engines, and systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems affecting aircraft performance or safety. Use specialized industrial tools such as torque wrenches, power tools, soldering equipment, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for precise repairs. Interpret technical drawings and schematics for sheet metal fabrication, welding, electrical wiring, avionics systems, and mechanical assemblies. Assist in aircraft assembly and disassembly processes during scheduled maintenance or upgrades. Perform heavy lifting and utilize specialized industrial tools safely during aircraft repairs or component replacements. Ensure all work complies with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), military standards (if applicable), and internal quality assurance protocols. Requirements Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required. Inspection Authorization preferred. Proven experience in aviation maintenance or aircraft repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems including airframe structures, powerplants, avionics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with software for maintenance tracking and documentation. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, calipers, micrometers, ammeters, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other specialized industrial tools. Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers and micrometers accurately. Electrical experience including troubleshooting wiring issues using multimeters or ammeters is preferred. Strong understanding of FAA regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols; physical fitness required for sustained manual tasks. Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
